If Mrs. Ronilo taught 110 students last year and teaches 150 students this year, what is the percent of increase of students in her class? Round to the nearest whole percent.

All you have to do to solve this problem is use this formula:
The percent of increase =[
(amount of change)/(original amount) × 100] %
1) 150 - 110= 40
2) 110 ÷ 40 = 2.75
3) 2.75 × 100= 275
The answer is, He had a 275% increase in students.
