Let the volume of the sphere be A and that of the cylinder be B then

A = 2/3 B

Given that the volume of the sphere of same diameter as a cylinder is 14u3 then

14u3 = 2/3 B

Multiply both sides by 3

42u3 =2B

Divided both sides by 2

21u3 = B

The volume of the cylinder in terms of u3 is 21u3
