The table shows the number of candies packed by Machine C. The equation shows the number of candies packed by Machine D. In both representations, x is a measure of the number of minutes and y is a measure of the number of candies packed.

Machine C Candy Packing
x (minutes) y (candies)
2 150
4 300
6 450
8 600

Machine D: y = 130x

Machine C makes 75 candies per minute.

Machine D makes 130 candies per minute.

Difference is 55

55 * 11 minutes = 605 candies.

The correct answer is D) 605
Step by step answer:
Divide 2 by 150 and you will get 75, meaning that Machine J packed 75 candies per minute. Machine K packed 130 candies per minute as it stated. In order to figure out how many more candies Machine J packed then Machine K in 11 minutes, you would need to figure out how many more candies it packed in one minute then multiply by 11. In this case Machine J packed 55 more then Machine K in one minute, therefore Machine J packed 605 more than Machine K in 11 minutes.
Hope this helped!
