So x = 15/14 * (-5/6) = - 75/83 = - 25/28.

Take like terms on one side
-1/2-4/7=6x/5
Solve LHS by taking lcm 14
(-1×7-4×2) /14 = 6x/5
(-7-8)/14 = 6x/5
-15/14 = 6x/5
