Before the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in the year of 1941, Japanese immigrants had previously settled in Hawaii and along the West Coast. And over time, with the birth of a new generation, these people became loyal to America just as any other Americans were. But then, with the country being dragged into the war after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, social, political, economic, and cultural factor eventually led to the imprisonment of the Japanese American citizens. The U.S.government was unfair in this and acted before taking the proper amount of time to think it through.
