To raise a fraction to a power, multiply the nimberator and denominator by the number.
The answer would be x to the power of 4, over y to the power of 8. There's no like terms so that would be your final answer.

what you are going to do is multiply what you have in parenthesis by two the answer is 2Xsquared and 2Y to the fourth
