remember a ciecle is 360 degrees

so find the degrees out of 360 to find the fraction out of the total area
basically

sector area=circle area times angle/360
or
sector area=pi itmes r^2 times angle/360

sector area=pi times 4^2 times 12/360
sector aera=pi times 16 times 1/30
sector area=8pi/15 or aprox 1.67552 square cm
