Fishing can harm the environment because if a person over fishes, then to many fish will be gone and that will ruin the balance of the fish in that area. Another reason is because while you are fishing you may accidentally catch a species they do not intend to catch. The last reason I have is because you may ruin the habitat by churning up the sediments on the ocean floor.
