The Musical Theory basically describes two things: on the one hand, how one or another piece of music is composed; and on the other hand, how this or that attribute of a composition affects the listener, the way in which he perceives or experiences the piece.
In this last theoretical activity, in the description of how the attributes of a composition affect the listener's experience, countless verbal terms or expressions of a metaphorical nature are sown.
