(x + 3, y - 2)
adding a number to the x would move the shape to the right, 3 units.
subtracting a number from the y would move the shape down, 2 units

The translation,
(x, y) → (x + 3, y – 2), means that the point on the X-axis would move 3, and because it's positive, it would move to the right 3.
Y– 2 means the point on the Y-axis moves 2, and because it is negative 2 it moves down 2
