To check for any errors, review the payment history first and confirm that it is correct and updated. All the information including your name, address, social security number, and any debts you owe should be correct. If you notice any errors, it is best to dispute them with the credit agency and report to the credit bureaus immediately. Once these errors have been fixed, your account should be in good standing.

As well known, once you report errors, the dispute system is not designed to fix the problem. The credit bureau is legally required to check with the debt collector or the creditor and enquire from them whether they stand by your claim.

If your credit reports show different scores, what you should do is get in touch with credit bureaus to see if they have different or inaccurate information on your credit history.
Before making any rash decisions, or doing absolutely nothing, you should call these credit bureaus in order for them to check what is going on with your account. You shouldn't just wait for it to resolve itself, because it may cause you problems in the future.
