To proof

Let us assume that the number of individual bags be x .

As given


Emily\ is\ dividing\ 15\ pounds\ of\ jelly\ beans\ into\ (3)/(4)lb\ bags.

Than the equation becomes


(x*3)/(4) = 15

Solving the above


x = (4* 15)/(3)

x = 20

Therefore the number of bags are 20 .

Option (D) is correct .
