Solution:

The given linear equation is :

y= 2 x which represents the cost y for x pounds of apples.

To check which ordered pair lies on the graph

Substitute values of x and y in the linear equation , and check whether for which values of x and y that is ordered pair that is, left hand side that is y, is equal to Right hand side which is (2 x).

So, for those ordered pair for which, R.H.S = L.H.S, that ordered pair is correct option.

Either you can find the solution Graphically, by plotting the graph of function , y = 2 x.

Check which points among the given option , lies on the graph.
