What is 3 = k/5 -2 using two-step equations

Okay, to solve for K the first thing you would want to do is isolate the K by multiplying both sides by (5-2).

the equation is now 3(5-2)=K

Now, if you distribute properly, the equation becomes 3(5)+3(-2)=K, which reduces down to 15-6=k, and then simply
k=9
