Pham mowed more than his son because you make the denominators equal (2/7 x 8 and 1/4 x 13) then compare them and you'll find your answer and there is another way to multiply the fractions

2/7 = 8/28
1/4 = 7/28
Mr.Pham mowed more by 1/28
15/28 is total, leaving 13/28 left.
