State the formula for the probability of an event


Pr(event)=\frac{Required\text{ number of events}}{Total\text{ number of events}}

Total number of event=8

Required number of events= number of odd numbers between 19,20,21,25,27,31,32 and 33=6

Step 2

Find the required probability


Pr(chance\text{ of odd-numbered square})=(6)/(8)\text{ i.e 6 out of 8}

Answer; 6 out of 8. option D
