What is the tense of the underlined verb in the sentence? My baby brother (cries) at bedtime.

A.simple future
B.simple present
C.simple past

A. Simple Future. If it was "cried" it would show it is in the past. If it was "cry" it would show it is happening. And if it was "cries" it would predict what would happen. So the answer is A. Simple Future. Hope I helped :)

The answer is B. Simple present verbs normally have the ending -s, as "cries" does, or would have "is ___ing". Simple future verbs have "will" before, like "will cry". Simple past have the ending -d unless irregular, like "cried".
