The answer is 64 because the factors of the trinomial would be (x-8)^2

the missing term is 64. Proof - (x-8)² = x²-16x
+64 2) The missing term is 28. Proof - (2x+7)(2x+7) = 4x²+28x+49 ... x2-16x
+64 4x2+28x+49.
