What can a character's use of persuasion reveal to the reader? How do the methods they use to persuade others of their ideas/cause reveal info about them?

Answer and Explanation:

The use of a character's persuasion allows the reader to be shown that the character is convincing, capable of shaping a situation, shows signs of leadership and can change things in favor of him or what he believes. In other words, the use of persuasion shows that the character is efficient in achieving his wishes.

The methods they use show the nature of their reasoning and their persoanliodity. This is because, depending on the method used, we can see if the character is more ethical, logical or emotional.
