Since the value of x was already found to be x = 2, we now can find the perimeter of the triangle.

The perimeter of the triangle is the sum of the measures of its three sides. Since this is a regular triangle, i.e., with all sides with the same lengths, we can find the length of one side, and then multiply the result by 3 to find the perimeter.

The length of each side is 1:

5 - 2x

5 - 2*2

5 - 4

1

Therefore, the perimeter is:

3 * 1 = 3

Answer: 3 units.
