Match the following parts of a flower with their descriptions.

1. pistil

So In the interest of time I'm just gonna have the flower part and the function directly beside it.

The parts and their function are as follows:

1. Pistil - female part of the flower {consists of the stigma style and ovary}

2. Stamen- makes pollen {consists of the anther and filament and the anther
is responsible for pollen production}

3. sepal- protects the ovary {at the base of the flower on the outside of the ovary and acts as a second layer there}

4. receptacle-
attaches the flower to the stem {a stem like structure below
the ovary connecting the flower to a main stem.}

5. petals-
attract pollinators {in animal pollinated flowers, the petals are colorful
and sweet-scented thus attracting bees
and birds that will help the pollen get from the
anther to the stigma}
