How are work and power related

Work is the product of force applied that displaces or moves an object.  Power is the rate at which work is done.  Think about it, work is about what happens, and power is about the time it takes to do it.  Don't confuse energy with power because energy is the ability to do work.

Work uses power. Everything in the world is always trying to find a balance and have its power be zero. If a ball rolls down a hill, it rolls down until the point where it stops, and it has no power/energy.

TLDR; Power is work in a timed matter. Work is measured in Joules. Power represents work per unit of time
