A 0.0254 m long magnet is held next toa wire carrying 0.530 A of current, sothat the field is perpendicular to the wire.The resulting magnetic force is3.67*10^-4 N. What is the strength ofthe field?(Unit = T)Magnetic Field (T)

The force of a magentic field is given by the next formula

F=IBL\cdot sin(\theta)

We have F force, I current, B magnetic field, L lenght and sin theta which represents the angle between them. This is important because this interactions depends on the direction.

\begin{gathered} B=(F)/(IL\cdot sin(\theta)) \\ B=(3.67\cdot10^(-4)N)/(0.0254m\cdot0.53A\cdot sin(90)) \\ B=0.027T \end{gathered}

Based on the information, the angle is 90 because is perpendicular, as it is mentioned on the text
