To find the y or x intercept of an equation, all you have to do is set the varibale equal to 0.

However, its best to put it in slope or quadratic form.

y=-8x+4

The y intercept is 4 because when x = 0, y is 4.

Then, we can do the same thing to find the x-intercept but just change it up a bit.

x=-3y+6/4

The x-intercept is 3/2
