What is the greatest common factor of 3y^4+9y²-6y³-18y? P.S.- the ^4 is an exponent!

The greatest common factor must be a variable 'y' with no exponent modifier because 18y must be devisable by it. Then you look for the greatest common factor of the coefficients, which in this case is 3
