The perimeter of a rectangle garden is 348 feet if the length of the garden is 93 feet what is the width?

The width is 81 feet.
93(2)+81(2)=348

The width would be 81 feet.

To find this answer, you could use the expression w = P/2 - l (or l = P/2 - w if you're finding the length)


w = width (93 feet)

and

P = perimeter (348 feet)


Then you divide the perimeter by 2:

348/2 =

174

Lastly you subtract 93 from 174:

174 - 93 =

81

Then you get your answer :D
