PLEASE HELP

Use the graphing calculator to graph the quadratic function y = 2x2 + 2x – 40. What are the zeros of the function?

4 and –5
–4 and 5
–5 and –40

2x^2+2x-40=0

2x^2+10x-8x-40=0

2x(x+5)-8(x+5)=0

(2x-8)(x+5)=0

2(x-4)(x+5)=0

x=-5 and 4

If you graph it, the zeros are just the values of x when the curve meets the x axis...
