AD is 16 because FE equals 4 and FE is equivalent to GD. so then add 4 to AG which is 12, and 12+4= 16

(FA)/(AE)=(GA)/(AD)

Substituting the given values, we have

(16)/(20)=(12)/(AD)


AD=\frac{12{*}20}{16}


AD=15
