After consulting the Web link above or a book at the library or talking with your parents, what do you think the difference is between saving and investing?

The difference between saving and investing is when you save you are taking your money and putting it aside for when you need it and have it readily available. When you invest you put money into something hoping to in the future make more out of it. The difference is that savings rate is small and stable but with investing its risky and unreliable but if it does more out could be more profitable in the end.

Based on the sources that I have read, the difference between saving and investing are these:
1. In saving, you are separating a certain sum from your income, and this sum is being kept in your personal bank account. This amount is readily available when needed anytime.
2. In investing, you are putting your money in a certified company and you allow them to utilize it for business purposes. In investing, your money is not readily available anytime.
3. The very big difference between the two is that, in savings, the interest rate is very small, whereas in investing, you get higher returns depending on the risk appetite of the investor.
