Paul is comparing two high-speed Internet service providers (ISPs) for his business. The graph represents the cost of each ISP as a function of t, the duration in months of a service contract.

If C(t) = 180 + 10t represents ISP A and C(t) = 25t represents ISP B, how long would the service contracts need to be for the total costs to be the same?

A. 6 months

B. 8 months

C. 10 months

D. 12 months

base from the graph the intersection of the line is at 12 months. so this is the time where the cost of the two internet provider is equal. this can be solve by equating the two and solve for t.
C(t) = 180 + 10t , C(t) = 25t
180 + 10t = 25t
180 = 25t - 10t
180 = 15t
t = 12
