OPTION 4: It led the UFW to use only nonviolent protest to achieve its goals.

The United Farm Workers Union (founded in 1962) aiming was the creation of laws that would allow farm workers to organize into a union and make collective agreements, to make people aware of farm workers struggles and recognition of their dignity. Cesar Chavez contributed to its purpose as a leader that used nonviolent actions such as strikes, fasting and marches, like the 340-mile march from Delano to Sacramento in 1966.
