Let total number of students in class = x

so 3/5th of x > 18

Or
(3x)/(5) >18

Now we multiply the inequality by 5

3x > 18 × 5

3x > 90

By dividing the inequality by 3


(3x)/(3) >
(90)/(3) ⇒ x > 30

So number of students in the class are more than 30

Option C is the answer.
