At least 93 points

1) Gathering the data

a total score of ≥ 540

85, 83, 90, 96

Final exam: 2x

The sum of earned points: 354

2) Setting the inequality, and then solving it:

2x +354 ≥ 540 Subtracting 354 on both sides

2x +354-354 ≥ 540-354

2x ≥ 186 Dividing 186 by 2

x ≥ 93

3) So in the final exam, I'll need at least a grade of 93. So that can be turned to 186 points and I get the minimum score of at least 540 points in History.
