I need help on number 11. I don't understand what it means by f(2) and g(-3). I know that's x but does that go into the equation or what?

yep. you would plug in 2 for the f(x) equation and -3 for the g(x) equation.
just put in those numbers in place of "x", simplify, and you will have your answer!
