If you have a membership for a gym and you have $0. you have to pay tomorrow but you dont get paid till next week. Next week you get paid $5 and pay it back.

How about using a thermometer as a real life situation. The temperature was 5 degrees outside. Later on, it went 5 degrees below what is the temperature now.
