the answer for the first one would be 5=10 which would be no solution because 5 does not equal 10. The second answer would be 4.6 but if you can't use decimals then the answer would be -23/5 but that might be the wrong answer but that is what i got

For the first one, we will have to factor out the numbers. So 2 times 4x is 8x and 2 times 5 is 10. Our new expression will now be 8x + 10 = 8x + 10. Now, since these are equal, x must equal 1.
