area of circle=pir^2
and that is 1/2 circle
area of triangle=1/2bh

we need the height

if we draw a line in the middle we get 2 right triangles
use pythagorean theorme
legs are 3 and ? and hyponuse is 5
3^2+?^2=5^2
9+?^2=25
minus 9
?^2=16
sqrt
?=4
height is 4

area of semicircle=1/2 times pi times (6/2)^2=1/2 times pi times 9=4.5pi=14.13

area of triangles
heigt is 4 and base is 6 times 1/2 so 12

14.13+12=26.13

answer is D
