Where a line crosses the y-axis is known as the y-intercept.
In slope-intercept form, the y-intercept is put in place of b.
Slope-intercept form is y=mx+b.
So if the line crosses the y-axis as (0, 6), then that means the y-intercept is b and makes the equation y=mx+6.

Hope this helps! :)
