I would say probably desperation or whatever a word is that means "pleading." Hope that helps!

i hope this helps you "Heat" is a short and dense poem and it's frickin' awesome to listen to. ... If you're in the mood, you can read some sexiness into "Heat"—perhaps H.D. is referring
