In the graph, the coordinates of the vertices of pentagon JKLMN are J(4, 6), K(6, 4), L(5, 2), M(3, 2), and N(2, 4). If pentagon JKLMN is reflected across the x-axis, find the coordinates of L'.

When you reflect something over the x-axis, you negate the y-value

So L(4,6) would become L'(4,-6)

Answer:

from the choices given....

A. (–5, 2)

B. (2, –4)

C. (3, –2)
