As consequences of winning the conflict, Israel expanded obtaining lands from the Arab neighbors. Its territory increased significantly with taking the Golan Heights, The Gaza Strip, and the Sinai Peninsula. Tactically this decisive victory sents a historical precedent and the ongoing conflict in the Middle East most disputed piece of land is perhaps the Gaza Strip. Having International influence, the United Nations every year surveilled the area.

Many people from the Arab world see Israel as an imposition from US and European powers, however, Israel argues until the present that these surrounding territories are useful for defending its right to exist as a political entity in a hostile and unstable region.

The city of Jerusalem (Cisjordania)is also with Tel Aviv a multicultural center where Arabs, , and Jews among the other races seek pacific coexistence. Sadly the last developments contribute to increased hostilities between Palestinians who also are advocating for a formation of a Palestinian state and the negotiations for peace often have been hindered by interests from many different powers.
