Angela goes to the Garden. There is a fountain. A circular fountain with 10m radius lies alone in the center of a circular park with a 200m radius. Calculate the total walking area available to the park visitors.

so I did 3.14 times 100 then you get 314.1 then you subtract that from 125663.7 which is basically 3.14 times 40000 and your final answer is 125349.6

Answer:

Hence, the walking area is 1193.2 m

Explanation:

We have been given that Angela goes to garden that has circular fountain with 10 m radius and and park has radius 200 m

We have to calculate the walking area that means we have to calculate the circumference of the circular park

Hence, the radius of the walking area becomes: 200-10 = 190

Hence, r= 190,
\pi=3.14

On substituting the values in the formula for circumference of a circle which is:

2\pi r we get:

2\cdot 190\cdot 3.14

1193.2

Hence, the walking area is 1193.2 m
