( (r)/(s) )(6)= (r(6))/(s(6))

r(6)=3(6)-1=18-1=17
s(6)=2(6)+1=12+1=13

( (r)/(s) )(6)= (r(6))/(s(6))= (17)/(13)

Answer:

(r)/(s)(6)=(17)/(13)

Explanation:

Given :
r(x)=3x-1

s(x)=2x+1

To Find: (r/s)(6)

Solution:

r(x)=3x-1

s(x)=2x+1

So,
(r)/(s)(x)=(3x-1)/(2x+1)

Substitute x =6

So,
(r)/(s)(6)=(3(6)-1)/(2(6)+1)

(r)/(s)(6)=(17)/(13)

Hence
(r)/(s)(6)=(17)/(13)
