P(0) = 200(1.18)^0

= 200(1)

= 200

To find that function represent growth or decay

P(1) = 200(1.18)^1

= 236

Its means that after a year population increases. Hence, function represent growth.

By what percentage does the population change each year?

(236 - 200 / 200) * 100%

= 235%
