I got the ratio is 4.

Okay, so try dividing a2 from a1 (to find geometric ratio, divide a2 from a1 :) )
12 ÷ 3 = 4
See if the other numbers have the same geometric ratio.
48 ÷ 12 = 4
192 ÷ 48 = 4
The common ratio is 4.
