Answer;

Surface waves

Explanation;

  • Electromagnetic waves are those waves that do not require a material medium for transmission. These waves include; radio waves, x-rays, gamma rays, microwaves, etc.
  • These waves possess no mass, and despite having no mass they carry energy just like any other wave. They also travel at a velocity equivalent to the speed of light (3.0 × 10^8 m/s).
  • Together the electromagnetic waves form electromagnetic spectrum which consists of electromagnetic waves arranged in the order of varying frequencies and wavelengths. The waves in the electromagnetic spectrum includes, X-rays, Gamma rays, micro waves, infrared, ultraviolet radiation, visible light, and radio waves.
