Art project! Help!!

So if you all know what tights are, and if you know what long socks are, my teacher talked about them for a little literature play we're doing.

She didn't tell me what they were called, but described them to me.

They are like black, very long socks that just go past your knee and they are seethrough like leggings. Anyone got a name for these? I need to buy some ):

Knee high black see through socks? There's no specific name for these but that's the closest I've got. Hope this helps.

Is it pantyhose?! Cuz if so then I've worn them before.
