If today there are 8 people in a class of 17 people

Total number of people = 17

Number of student present = 8

Number of student absent (17 - 8)= 9

tomorrow if the same students don't show up for class, number of students absent = 9

Probability of the attendance = Number of student present/ Total number of studnets

Probability of attendance = 8/17

Convert the fraction 8/17 into decimal

8/17 = 0.470

Probability of attendance is 0.470

If today there are 8 people in a class of 17 people ,what is the probability of attendance-example-1
