Firstly we need the scale factor

At 2 to 5, the scale factor is 5/2 = 1 to 2.5

Mathematically, we have the area of a triangle as:

1/2 * b * h

So, if the other side is x ;

we have that :

1/2 * x * 2 = 8

2x = 16

x = 8

The bigger other side will be;

2.5 * 8 = 20

So the area of the second will be;

1/2 * 20 * 8 = 80
