The people who pay less than $60 is 50.

The people who pay less than $72 is 75.

Explanation:

100 people were surveyed in total. If we divide that, we get 50.

The median is themiddle number of a set of numbers. The midlle, being half of 100, will be 50.

for the people who pay above 72$, we can say that the upper quartile has 50 people in total. divide that by half, and you get 25, the meddian of the quartile. if we add 25 to 50, we get 75 people who pay less than $72.
